Background and Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the different neuromuscular parameters that affect the static and dynamic balance in adolescent soccer players with Dynamic Knee Valgus defect.
Materials and Methods: The present study was a correlational study. The statistical population of this study included adolescent soccer players with dynamic valgus deformity of the knee, which was 83 people (age: 12.63 ± 0.72 years, height: 1.69 ± 0.07 meter, weight: 23.23 ± 7.74 58 kg, BMI: 20.32 ± 2.38 kg /m2) were purposefully selected from the statistical population. In this study, the presence of dynamic knee valgus was assessed by the squat test, the strength of the trunk and hip muscles assessed by MMT, trunk endurance also evaluated by with McGill tests, and ROM of hip and ankle joints assessed with a goniometer. Also, the static and dynamic balance were evaluated by the stork test and Y balance test, respectively. The Pearson correlation coefficient test was used to examine the relationship at a significance level of 0.05. All statistical operations were performed by SPSS software version 24.
Results: The results showed a significant relationship between static balance and research variables (P≤0.05) except trunk flexion strength (P=0.16) and ROM (P
